DIY Accessories!!

One of my assignments for my second semester was to research and create a piece of jewelery or some sort of accessory. I began looking for inspiration for this, the first idea i had was to create a piece of couture, one off piece of neckwear. i really liked this idea and took inspiration from lady gaga. I absolutly love these pieces she is wearing...

To Recycle or Not Recycle??? That was the question

Making a window display out of carrier bags sounds easy enough...right?
Getting the carrier bags proved be the hardest part, putting one item in a bag during your 'big' shop at tescos is not the most subtle way of collecting carrier bags, you WILL get some funny looks.

Im rather impressed at how our window display turned out, slightly different from the original idea but i think it turned out very well. Sooo we cheated a little with the skirt and used a metal cage stolen from the art department, but you wouldn't suspect a thing.

A few dodgy photos later... we ended up with this.. a wierd angled photo, not the greatest thing to put in your portfolio ey? So some clever editing was needed. The finish product now looks like this;
